CORMCO makes and holds long-term investments in top companies. As such, CORMCO invested in a string of high-profile IPOs, such as Broadcom in 1998, Nvidia in 1999, and Emmar Properties in 2000. Other notable investments include Qualcomm in 2003, Biogen in 2005, and Amgen in 2010. From 1998 to 2024, CORMCO’s investments generated a 21% annualized return, significantly outperforming the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite indexes' annualized returns during the same period (respectively 10% and 14%). CORMCO hedges downside risk to its overall portfolio through a combination of derivatives and decorrelated real estate investments. CORMCO also invests a signicant percentange of its portfolio in precious metals and commodities.
